Reds' Tim Adleman goes eight innings in one-hitter win
Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Tim Adleman delivered an outstanding performance in Friday's victory, allowing just one hit over eight shutout innings.
Adleman walked two and struck out four on the night. The only hit against him came on an Andres Blanco one-out single in the first inning. He takes on the Toronto Blue Jays away on Wednesday.
Adleman currently holds a 4.95 ERA (4.33 SIERA), 20.5 percent strikeout rate, and 8.4 percent walk rate in 40 innings pitched.
