San Francisco scratches Eduardo Nunez (hamstring) against Cubs
San Francisco Giants infielder Eduardo Nunez (hamstring) has been scratched from Thursday's lineup versus the Chicago Cubs.
The Giants likely just want to err on the side of caution after Nunez tweaked his left hamstring on Wednesday night. Christian Arroyo has been selected as the replacement at third base and he will bat eighth versus Cubs right-hander Eddie Butler.
Nunez is hitting .277/.298/.370 with 2 home runs, 16 RBI's and 12 stolen bases in 182 plate appearances (45 games) this season.
