Astros without Carlos Correa again on Wednesday
Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Detroit Tigers.
Manager A.J. Hinch is giving a struggling Correa some brief time off to get things going back in the right direction. He went 0-for-8 with three strikeouts in his previous two outings. Marwin Gonzalez is starting at shortstop for Houston and hitting second versus left-hander Derek Norris and the Tigers.
Correa is hitting .276/.361/.455 with six home runs and 24 RBI's in 180 plate appearances (41 games) this season.
