Mariners scratch Robinson Cano due to sore quad
The Seattle Mariners have scratched second baseman Robinson Cano (quad) from Thursday's lineup due to a sore quad.
Cano left Tuesday's game early due to the quad injury but was able to play on Wednesday, going 4-for-5 with his eighth home run of the season. Mike Freeman will start in his place and bat seventh versus the Toronto Blue Jays.
Cano is batting .296/.362/.533 with eight home runs and 28 RBI's in 152 plate appearances this season.
