Dodgers' Adrian Gonzalez still dealing with tendinitis in his forearm
Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez (forearm) is still dealing with forearm tendinitis.
Gonzalez experienced the injury early in spring training and was shut down for two weeks. After it had improved, he played in the World Baseball Classic and has appeared in 23 games for the Dodgers, but the tendinitis has not gone away. The team is not considering putting the first baseman on the disabled list yet, in large part due to the veteran never having a stint on the DL in his 14-year career. If the condition worsens, a move may need to be made with Cody Bellinger filling in at first for however long is necessary.
Gonzalez has not looked his usual self this season, batting .250/.341/.319 with zero home runs and nine RBI's in 83 plate appearances.
