Boston to have David Price (elbow) face hitters Saturday
Boston Red Sox starting pitcher David Price (elbow) is scheduled to face live hitters on Saturday.
What It Means:
Price made it through a bullpen session on Monday without any issues and will progress to facing live hitters this weekend. It will be the first time since he went down in early-March that the pitcher will face batters. We should have a clearer picture on Price's timetable for return following this weekend.
Price went 17-9 with a 3.52 xFIP and 24.0 strikeout percentage in a league-high 230 innings pitched in 2016.
