Royals holding Jorge Soler (Grade 1 oblique strain) out a week
Kansas City Royals outfielder Jorge Soler has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 left oblique strain and will be held out of baseball activities for a week.
Grade 1 is the mildest of the strains, so it's possible Soler will be able to avoid a stint on the disabled list. His Opening Day status is up in the air, but it doesn't sound like Soler is going to miss much time.
Soler is projected to hit .259 this upcoming season, according to numberFire's models, with 15 home runs and 49 RBI's across 401 plate appearances.
