Rockies without Tom Murphy 4-6 weeks due to forearm fracture
Colorado Rockies catcher Tom Murphy will miss 4-6 weeks with a hairline fracture in his right forearm.
Murphy was able to stay in the game after suffering the injury on Sunday, but it must have been worse than initially believed. This obviously puts a dent into the 25-year-old's fantasy outlook ahead of his third season in the majors, but it does means more action for Tony Wolters to open the year.
numberFire's models project Murphy to hit .255 with a .793 OPS across 202 plate appearances in 2017 while posting 11 taters and 31 RBI's.
