Miguel Cabrera blasts game-winning three-run home run for Tigers
Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera belted what proved to be a game-winning three-run home run on Wednesday as the Tigers beat the Cleveland Indians 6-3 in a game that was cut short after five innings due to weather.
The game was tied 3-3 when Cabrera stepped to the plate with one out and two on in the bottom of the fifth, and he took Joseph Colon yard for what proved to be the game's deciding runs.
The 33-year-old Cabrera has continued to terrorize pitchers this season, slashing .313/.392/.555 with a .395 wOBA and .242 ISO through 666 plate appearances. He has also blasted 36 home runs and driven in 105 RBI's on the year.
