Giants' Matt Moore allowed one run over 7 2/3 in win over Rockies
San Francisco Giants pitcher Matt Moore dealt 7 2/3 innings of one-run ball, striking out 11 as the Giants rolled to a 12-3 win over the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday.
Moore has been rolling lately, and he has picked up wins in five of his last seven starts -- though those two losses were disastrous performances that him get the hook before the third inning in each.
Moore has a 4.21 ERA and a 4.40 SIERA on the season, and his 21.2 percent strikeout rate is his best since 2013.
