Miguel Cabrera homers, Detroit takes down the Twins
Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera had a home run and two RBI's on 4-for-5 hitting as the Tigers beat the Minnesota Twins 9-4 on Wednesday.
The big showing gives Cabrera 28 home runs and 80 RBI's on the year, good for 15th and 20th in the majors, respectively.
This has actually been a bit of a down year for Cabrera, who is slashing .313/.386/.552 through 531 plate appearances, with a .391 wOBA and .239 ISO that both fall below his lofty career averages. He currently ranks 14th in the majors with a 2.91 nERD.
