Mark Teixeira goes yard twice in losing effort
Mark Teixeira hit his 25th and 26th home runs on the season while going 3-for-4 with two RBI as the Yankees lost 7-6 to the Rangers.
Teixeria is returning to elite status this year and is now hitting .263/.368/.562 with a .392 wOBA on the season. His wOBA ranks second among all first basemen in the AL. Teixeria hit both his long balls off right-handed pitchers tonight where 21 of his 26 home runs have come on the season.
