Ryan Braun (side) remains sidelined as Brewers battle Pittsburgh
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun (side) is out of the starting lineup again Friday versus the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Braun has been experiencing some tightness in his right side, and over the past few days has had trouble getting loose. However, the injury isn't considered more than a day-to-day issue. Jake Elmore -- and his .319 wOBA -- will start in left field on Friday.
Braun is slashing .321/.383/.515 with a .381 wOBA in 358 plate appearances on the year. He ranks 28th in the majors with a 2.33 nERD, and we project him to post a .359 wOBA while tallying another 8 home runs, 31 runs scored, 31 RBI's and 7 stolen bases in 228 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
