Nationals' Nick Senzel (thumb) making season debut Monday
The Washington Nationals will start Nick Senzel (thumb) at third base for Monday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Senzel missed the first weeks of the season while recovering from the thumb injury he suffered in Spring Training, but it seems like he's ready to play against teh Dodgers tonight. He'll bat sixth and handle third base while Trey Lipscomb sits.
Senzel had a career year in 2023, notching 13 home runs in 330 plate appearances while maintaining a .236 average. He could have a rough debut against Dodgers ace Tyler Glasnow, though.
