Jake Meyers joining Astros bench Thursday afternoon
Houston Astros outfielder Jake Meyers is not in the lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Brady Singer and the Kansas City Royals.
What It Means:
Meyers will sit for the third time in four games after going 0-for-4 and committing an error on Wednesday. Mauricio Dubon will replace Meyers in center field and hit ninth.
