Hector Rondon notches 18th save for Cubs Sunday
Chicago Cubs closer Hector Rondon picked up his 18th save of the season in a 5-4 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday.
Rondon gave up one earned run in the save, his third earned run in his last 10 appearances.
Rondon is having a career year, with a 1.98 SIERA, 35.00 percent strikeout rate and 3.70 percent walk rate that are all the best in his four seasons in the majors. He has a 1.25 nERD, and we project him to lead the league with 14 saves over the remainder of the season.
