Tigers' Miguel Cabrera collects 1500th RBI Friday
Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera went 4-for-4 and had two RBI's on Friday, leading the Tigers to a 7-5 victory over the Chicago White Sox.
Cabrera is now only the 56th player in major league history to have 1500 RBI's over a career and it came with two-outs in the seventh inning. Cabrera's RBI single ended a 5-5 tie, which ended up being the eventual winning run.
Cabrera is slashing .300/.376/.515 with a .373 wOBA, 19 homers and 56 RBI's. Our models project the future hall of famer to post a .361 wOBA with 10 homers and 41 RBI's remaining this season.
