Dexter Fowler

Dexter Fowler back in centerfield for Cubs Friday night

The Chicago Cubs activated outfielder Dexter Fowler from the 15-day disabled list Friday.

What It Means:

Fowler is leading off and in centerfield for the first time since going down with a hamstring injury on June 18th. It took over a month for him to recover, but he will be back Friday facing the Brewers and Jimmy Nelson.

Fowler ranks 39th in the majors with a 1.92 nERD, and is sporting an impressive .290/.398/.483 slash with a .381 wOBA and .193 isolated slugging. Our models project him to post a .349 wOBA with 24 RBI's, 34 runs scored and 6 steals remaining this season.
