Daulton Varsho taking seat for Blue Jays Thursday
Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (knee) is not in the lineup for Thursday's series finale against right-hander Gerrit Cole and the New York Yankees.

Varsho will sit after going 1-for-8 with a strikeout on Wednesday. Whit Merrifield, Kevin Kiermaier, and George Springer will start across the outfield while Davis Schneider serves as the designated hitter.
