Carlos Santana (illness) sidelined for Brewers again Wednesday
Milwaukee Brewers infielder Carlos Santana (illness) is not in the lineup again for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Chris Flexen and the Colorado Rockies.
Santana is absent for a second straight game due to an illness. Mark Canha will cover first base and the No. 3 spot in the order again for Milwaukee.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Brewers' implied total is third-highest on the board at 5.31 and the game total is 9.0. Flexen has registered a horrendous 6.97 xERA and paltry 14.5% strikeout rate this season.
