Justin Turner (heel) absent again Wednesday for Red Sox
Boston Red Sox designated hitter/infielder Justin Turner (heel) is not in the lineup again Wednesday versus right-hander Logan Gilbert and the Seattle Mariners.
Turner is sidelined for a second straight game after he injured his heel in Monday's series opener. Masataka Yoshida will cover the DH spot again on Wednesday and Christian Arroyo will make another start on second base.
numberFire’s models project Yoshida ($3,200) for 10.0 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Red Sox's implied total is 3.63 and the game total is a pitcher-friendly 7.5. Gilbert has a 3.83 ERA and 3.61 xERA this season, with a 42.1% hard-hit rate, 24.1% strikeout rate, and 4.2% walk rate (top 4th percentile of MLB).
