Orioles acquire pitcher Jack Flaherty in trade with St. Louis
The Baltimore Orioles have acquired pitcher Jack Flaherty on Tuesday.
What It Means:
After 118 starts with St. Louis, Flaherty will join his second career team while the Orioles make their move towards a playoff push as the American League East division leaders. Expect Flaherty to take over a back end rotation spot for the Orioles.
In 109.2 innings this season, Flaherty has produced a 4.45 expected Fielding Independent Pitching rating and a 21.9% K-rate.
