Cubs' Ian Happ not in Sunday lineup
The Chicago Cubs did not list Ian Happ in their starting lineup for Sunday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
What It Means:
Happ will take the afternoon off while Miguel Amaya steps in at catcher and bats eighth. Yan Gomes will move from catcher to designated hitter and Christopher Morel will cover for Happ in left field.
Happ is projected to make 226 more plate appearances this season, with 6 homers, 27 runs, 23 RBI, 4 stolen bases and a .255 average.
