Daniel Murphy homers, drives in three in Nationals' victory

Washington Nationals second baseman Daniel Murphy went 3-for-4 with his eighth homer and 15th double to lead the Nationals past the Philadelphia Phillies, 4-3, on Monday.

What It Means:

Murphy has been on fire since day one this year. He's already more than halfway to his career high of 14 homers, and his 1.047 OPS is .278 points higher than his career mark of .769 with the New York Mets.

As one might expect, some regression is coming. Murphy is sporting a crazy-high .414 BABIP, and his home-run-to-fly-ball ratio of 10.4% is another career-high mark. We project him to put up a .336 wOBA over the rest of the season, so shop him while he's hot.
