Miami Marlins right fielder Giancarlo Stanton (side) remained out of the lineup on Sunday.
What It Means:
Stanton has been out with a sore right side since Tuesday, though he has taken some batting practice in his time off. Ichiro Suzuki will start in right field and bat leadoff today.
Stanton has been underwhelming this year, ranking 102nd with a 0.90 nERD. Our numbers do expect him to turn things around though, and we project him to hit .246/.348/.521 with a .365 wOBA over the remainder of the season.
