Hunter Pence's walk-off double carries Giants past San Diego
San Francisco Giants right fielder Hunter Pence (hamstring) delivered a walk-off pop-up RBI double in Monday's win over the San Diego Padres.
It was a ball that should have been caught, but the Giants will take it. Pence has missed three straight starts with a mild right hamstring strain and didn't feel comfortable taking swings in batting practice Monday, but he's not far off.
Pence has posted a .377 wOBA in 187 plate appearances while sending seven pitches out of the park and recording 33 RBI's on the year. He's hitting .294/.380/.488 for the season.
