Adam Duvall homers for third straight game in Reds' win
Cincinnati Reds outfielder Adam Duvall homered in his third straight game to help the Reds best the Milwaukee Brewers, 9-5, on Thursday.
Duvall's two-run bomb in the eighth inning did little to affect the outcome, but it caught our attention after he homered in each of the last two games.
He's got some pop and as the Reds' starting left fielder, he is working his way toward mixed-league relevance. In 83 plate appearances, he owns a .347 wOBA. Unfortunately for Duvall, he's done a lot of his best work with the bases empty, sitting with five homers and just nine RBI's on the season. We project him to post a .312 wOBA with 16 jacks over the rest of the campaign.
