Ervin Santana (back) expected to start for Twins Saturday
Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Ervin Santana (back) is on track to return from the disabled list Saturday versus the Chicago White Sox.
Santana made it through a 30-pitch simulated game Tuesday without issue. The right-hander has been on the 15-day disabled list since April 26 because of a lower back strain.
In four starts and 20 innings this season, Santana is sporting a 20.5 strikeout percentage and 4.22 SIERA to go with a 3.15 ERA.
