Billy Hamilton held out of Marlins' Friday afternoon lineup

Miami Marlins outfielder Billy Hamilton is not in the starting lineup for Friday afternoon's series opener against left-hander Justin Steele and the Chicago Cubs.

What It Means:

Hamilton will return to the bench after starting in Wednesday's series finale against the Cincinnati Reds. JJ Bleday will take over in center field and hit sixth while Peyton Burdick enters the lineup in place of Hamilton to make his MLB debut. Burdick will play left field and bat seventh.

Bleday has a $5,500 salary on the single-game slate and numberFire’s models project him for 7.0 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Marlins’ implied total is 3.68 and they are +128 underdogs.
