Kendall Graveman tagged for four runs in Athletics' loss to Seattle
Oakland Athletics starting pitcher Kendall Graveman surrendered four runs in 6 1/3 innings Monday in a loss to the Seattle Mariners.
It was one run through five innings, but then Graveman gave up four hits and two runs in the sixth. For some reason, Bob Melvin sent him back out for the seventh anyway (even though four straight lefties were due up), and he was pulled after a one-out double (the runner later came around to score).
In five starts this season, Graveman is now 1-3 across 28 2/3 innings with a 4.40 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 20.33 strikeout percentage.
