Aaron Blair gets no-decision for Braves after giving up one run in six innings
Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Aaron Blair allowed just one run over six frames but was hung with a no-decision in Friday's loss to the Chicago Cubs.
Blair took a no-hitter into the bottom of the fifth before Javier Baez led off with a double. The Cubs scored their long run off Blair that inning before the offense came alive late. Blair allowed just two hits on the day, although he walked three and struck out just three. Blair gets the New York Mets on the road next week.
He's given up just four runs over his first 11 1/3 big league innings but also has a 4/5 K/BB ratio.
