Kris Bryant scratched for Cubs Tuesday with sore knee
Chicago Cubs third baseman/outfielder Kris Bryant was scratched from the starting lineup on Tuesday night versus right-hander Felix Hernandez and the Seattle Mariners due to a lingering right knee issue.
What It Means:
Bryant has hit just .227/.298/.375 since being removed from a game on July 24 with a knee injury. Ian Happ is covering third base on Tuesday for the Cubs.
Bryant is slashing .280/.379/.513 with 26 homers, 64 RBI, and 96 runs scored in 568 plate appearances (131 games) for the Cubs this season.
