Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa is absent from Tuesday's lineup versus the Chicago Cubs because of rib soreness.
What It Means:
It's Correa's second straight absence. Jack Mayfield is covering shortstop Tuesday and batting sixth against Cubs left-hander Jon Lester. There should be an update on Correa's status after the game.
