Willie Calhoun (quad) on Rangers' bench in Wednesday's finale
Texas Rangers outfielder Willie Calhoun (quad) is not starting in Wednesday afternoon's series finale versus left-hander Marco Gonzales and the Seattle Mariners.
Calhoun was lifted from Tuesday night's game against the Mariners with tightness in his left quad. The extent of the injury is currently unknown. He went 0-for-2 with a walk before Danny Santana replaced him in the lineup. Shin-Soo Choo is starting in left field and leading off on Wednesday.
Calhoun has gone 10-for-23 (.435) with 2 home runs, a double, 7 RBI, and 5 runs scored in six games for the Rangers.
