Anthony Rendon (elbow) active, starting for Nationals Tuesday
Washington Nationals third baseman Anthony Rendon (elbow) is starting on Tuesday versus right-hander Adrian Houser and the Milwaukee Brewers.
Rendon is working out of the three-hole in his first game since April 26 due to a left elbow contusion. Wilmer Difo is at shortstop while Carter Kieboom has been optioned to Triple-A Syracuse.
Rendon was batting .356/.442/.740 with a 1.182 OPS through 86 plate appearances before going down. He has 6 homers, 10 doubles, 18 RBI, and 21 runs scored.
