Mikie Mahtook not starting for Tigers in Sunday's matinee
Detroit Tigers outfielder Mikie Mahtook is not starting in Sunday's series finale versus right-hander Brad Keller and the Kansas City Royals.
Niko Goodrum is taking Mahtook's place in center field. He's hitless through 19 at-bats this season with 9 strikeouts and 2 walks drawn. Miguel Cabrera is playing designated hitter on Sunday while Gordon Beckham covers first base and bats eighth.
