Yankees' Luis Severino (shoulder) played catch on Wednesday
New York Yankees pitcher Luis Severino (shoulder) made 25 throws from a distance of 60 feet on Wednesday.
What It Means:
This was the first time he threw a baseball since being diagnosed with shoulder inflammation on March 5. He will reportedly throw again tomorrow before taking an off day.
Our models project Severino to post a 3.38 ERA and 1.12 WHIP with 188 strikeouts in about 163 innings.
