Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) to throw live batting practice this week

Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) will throw live batting practice in a few days.

What It Means:

Kershaw is ready to face hitters after using all his pitches in a 38-pitch bullpen session on Sunday. The veteran left-hander, who turns 31 on Tuesday, is tentatively expected to make his season debut sometime in April.

numberFire's models currently expect Kershaw to record a 2.87 ERA and 1.06 WHIP with 186 strikeouts and 39 walks over 184 2/3 innings this season.
