Whenever we look to deviate from the chalk pitching selection on a given slate, our first instinct is to find out who is pitching against the Braves. Against right-handed pitching, Atlanta is last in the league with a .107 ISO and 29th in wOBA at .286.

So for tonight, our eyes turn to Danny Salazar, who is having an excellent season in the strikeout department. He’s striking out 10.32 batters per nine innings, but his 4.48 walks per nine innings are killing him. As a result, he sometimes has trouble pitching deep into games -- he’s had six starts of fewer than six innings this season.

But given the slate, the matchup, and his strikeout potential, he’s a stud GPP selection tonight. With Vegas on his side as a -200 favorite, he is the most likely to pick up the 12-point FanDuel win bonus, too.
