The Seattle Mariners have the third-highest implied total on tonight's main slate as they take on Phil Hughes and the Minnesota Twins. Hughes has a 4.76 SIERA on the season. He posted a 4.39 SIERA in 2015 and has only posted a mark below 4.00 once since 2010. His numbers against lefties over the last couple of seasons are rough, owning just a 13.0 percent strikeout rate and 4.29 xFIP in 2015 and a 14.8 percent strikeout rate and 4.47 xFIP to start this season.

Adam Lind has posted some dramatic platoon splits throughout his career, with a .366 wOBA and .214 ISO against righties and only a .261 wOBA and .115 ISO against lefties. He's also hitting .313/.353/.500 against right-handers this season, and he's in a great spot against Hughes here with a nice salary.
