Chris Davis, 1B, Baltimore Orioles

FanDuel Price: $2,200

Sam Gaviglio has a respectable 4.08 SIERA for the season, but it hasn't translated into a great ERA (5.13), and part of the reason are his poor marks against left-handed hitters. Lefty bats are smashing Gaviglio for a 39.9% hard-hit rate and .390 xwOBA, to go with a poor 14.4% strikeout rate.

The Baltimore Orioles probably aren't a team we're looking to stack on a full slate, but even beleaguered slugger Chris Davis can work with those numbers. Davis might be having a season he would like to forget, but his 10-day hiatus in June seems to have actually helped him out, as since then he's posted a 40.7% hard-hit rate, 50.6% fly-ball rate, and .264 ISO when he has the platoon advantage (148 plate appearances).

Of course, he's still whiffed plenty (33.8%) over that sample size, but at least he's showing some value as a boom-or-bust tournament play these days. At just $200 above the minimum, he's worth a flyer if you need to slash some salary.
