Adam Eaton hasn't been producing up to his usual level so far in 2018, but that doesn't mean he hasn't been hitting the ball well. His 18.6% soft-hit rate is right in line with his career-average (18.8%), but his 37.1% hard-hit rate crushes even his previous career-best (31.5%).

He has also been producing well against right-handed pitching, with a .353 wOBA over 202 plate appearances.

Tonight, he's up against Miami Marlins righty Dan Straily, and with Straily's career-worst 4.97 SIERA on the year, this is a terrific spot for Eaton.
