Baltimore Orioles

The Baltimore Orioles' Chris Davis hasn't been good for a couple years now. Last year, he batted .215/.309/.423 with a .312 wOBA and 26 homers in 524 plate appearances. And, so far this year, he has been the third-worst hitter in baseball. His .152 average, 4 home runs and 13 RBI have only amounted to a wRC+ of 34, behind only Lewis Brinson (31) and Kole Calhoun (2).

Those numbers are hard to reconcile, and when they come on the heels of stories questioning Davis' worth ethic from inside and outside the Baltimore organization, it's a safe bet the team may be looking to DFA a former star of their own. Were they to do so, they could potentially replace him with Ramirez.

In 27 career games at Camden Yards, Ramirez has a .269/.327/.490 slash line and 117 wRC+ with 6 homers in 113 plate appearances. Camden Yards has also been the 12th-best park for scoring runs this year and is 5th-friendliest in terms of homers.
