Blake Snell was a pitcher we could attack earlier this season, but he's made some nice strides in the latter half. Since the All-Star break, he's produced a 3.75 ERA, 4.26 SIERA, 21.7% strikeout rate, and 7.1% walk rate. It's the lack of free passes that's his most notable improvement, considering he posted an ugly 14.5% walk rate in the first half. He's also displayed a solid post-break 28.5% hard-hit rate.

While those aren't elite numbers, they also aren't ones that we look to attack in DFS. Since the beginning of July, Snell has allowed more than 3 earned runs just twice in 12 starts. This simply isn't a spot where the Chicago Cubs are likely to blow up for a big score, and they're only getting a 4.14 implied team total.

Therefore, on a day where you're likely paying up at pitcher, it's tough to rationalize fitting in Kris Bryant in this spot.
