Madison Bumgarner, P, San Francisco Giants

It can be easy to overlook other top pitchers on a Kershaw day, but if you can't stomach $12,900, Madison Bumgarner is a terrific play in his own right.

He has opened the season with a 27.9% strikeout rate -- right in line with the 27.5% he posted last year -- to go with a terrific 2.68 SIERA.

Bumgarner isn't a huge favorite tonight, with the San Francisco Giants' moneyline sitting at -137. However, both his floor and upside look strong while taking on a Kansas City Royals team that ranks dead last in wRC+ and has the sixth-highest strikeout rate against southpaws this season.
