I expect it will take at least until January until they can get steam rolling. Right now, offense is not their issue. Their setups have shown that they are all getting good quality shots, and experience will iron out the spacing issues. Their issues lie in defense and bench scoring. Right now their defensive rotations are simply not there, and it will take a couple of weeks for D12 to get back into the swing of things, as he has shown he has been a step too late on a lot of help defensive opportunities as of now. Their bench, however, has been horrid. Apart from the fact that Jamison cannot figure out pick and roll defense, it seems like all of the players on the bench are on a cold streak right now, with the exception of Jordan Hill, who plays close to the basket anyway, so if he is having a cold streak then it is probably more about poor mechanics than just streaky shooting.

I expect them to win low fifties (52 is my guess) this season, as the early season is a bit of a white wash, and the rest of the Western conference got a lot more competitive in the offseason. While they will be an exciting team to watch, I still see OKC as a better team than them until chemistry is a non-issue. Right now their success lies in simple brute force talent, and in a strong Western conference, that has been shown to be not enough. Expect it to be more showtime Lakers later in the season though.
