Championship Game: Who do I start at QB?
My options are Philip Rivers, Derek Carr, Ryan Fitzpatrick

The Rivers & Carr matchup could turn into a track meet, but both QBs have put up some duds lately. I lean towards Carr on that one.

They all have their problems & I feel like any one of them could blow up for 30 or drop an 8.

Who would you pick and why?

On the other side, Fitz has been on fire recently and has a good floor when playing tougher defenses. I am nervous about him playing New England since they have been pretty good.

I would go with both Carr/Rivers over Fitzpatrick. So whichever you prefer (I'd probably lean Carr too) then I would go with that QB over Fitzpatrick.

I am leaning towards Carr. ESPN has him ranked highest for what its worth. I just wonder if Fitz could have a big game at NE. They are playing for a wildcard spot

I'm also waiting to hear about Odell bekcham. Who do you like for flex? Frank Gore or Abdullah? Gore has been terrible but is playing Miami. Abdullah came on a little last week but fumbled. He is playing SF

Fitzpatrick is the safest pick, he has scored 24 or more in I think 4 out of the last 5 games. He hasn't really put up a dud game this year. I am also betting it will be a high scoring game. The jets have one of the best passing offenses in the league, the best WR duo in the league and a top notch offensive line. Fitz is the least sacked QB in the league. Hard to bet against that.

Rivers is easily the most talented one of the three and has the highest floor, he can easily throw up 30 plus any given game if he is on fire. He also has the lowest floor due to his depleted WR core and poor offensive line. He has thrown out 3 major duds under 10 pts in the last 5 games.

Carr - has been up and down all year. It is a good match up but it is also a division game on a Thursday night. Neither team is playing for anything, I guarantee its sloppy.

I personally would go with Fitzpatrick, he is the safest pick and he has easily been the most consistent and highest scoring option at the QB position this year. I don't see it changing especially in a game with everything on the line.

Fantasypros.com has Fitzpatrick ranked the highest @ 11, Carr @ 13 and Rivers @ 14, so it is a close call. That sites accumulates all experts rankings and averages them out, includes rankings from Espn, Nfl, Yahoo etc.

You have pretty much talked me into Fitz. I didn't realize Carr was playing Thursday. Good answer
