Sanu better than handcuff? Start along with Green?
My active recievers this week are: Maclin, Green (Q), VJax, Sanu.
I was planning on starting Maclin, VJax and Green with Sanu as a last second handcuff if Green doesn't play.

Now I am wondering, if Green plays should I be playing Sanu ahead of VJax? This is a standard scoring league. VJax has potential but has not played well, and Glennon isn't helping. Sanu has looked very good, Jax is a soft matchup, and Gio will likely be limited so WRs may get a few extra targets. Thoughts appreciated.

My question is...how long are you going to accept mediocrity from your (I'm guessing 1st or 2nd pick) WR? Tampa has been horrible this year and so has VJax. I was lucky to include him in a trade for Shady in one league and in another, I flat out dropped him to waivers. 1, 3 and 5 points with the rare double digit isn't going to help you win a championship.

    Sanu gets points...

I picked up VJax off waivers when I had an injury. Tried to include him in trades without takers. Waiver options aren't great and this is the only week remaining in the schedule I have to play him. So, thanks for the input but you read the situation incorrectly.

In the 3 games this season that the two have played together, Sanu notched 6, 9, and 13 standard points, averaging 5 catches per game. Against a Jacksonville team that is actually pretty good against the run, and a banged up Giovani Bernard...I don't think it's insane to play both. Everyone seems intent to go all in against the Jaguars in every other aspect (Seen Andy Dalton ranked as a top 10 play this week, obviously bye weeks notwithstanding), so why not at WR, where they are at their worst defensively? Sanu's targets are what keep him a viable option...not sure he sees such a drop that he becomes irrelevant just cuz Green is on the field. Plus, he's got the gadget play upside, which they have not exercised much lately...he runs, he throws...possible he snags some extra points there...

I dunno, I'm just really over Vincent Jackson. He is not anybody that is even worth owning anymore, in my opinion.

It is fair to be over Vjax, but Jacksonville has been decent against QBs and WRs the past few weeks. Have only given up two passing TDs in the last 4 weeks. I don't think you want to have 2 people invested in that.

I don't know if I'm willing to start 2 Cincy WRs. Vjax gets a ton of targets and has a decent matchup himself. I lean Vjax over Sanu (if Green is active).
