Would you Veto this trade?
Murray for Miller and Ivory? Miller and Ivory both average half what Murray does in our league? I know if I let this go through it will piss the rest of my league off. Both teams are 6-2 and I cant think of any reason why the Murray owner would do this trade. It makes the other team completely stacked. Thoughts?

My opinion is always, unless you have reason to believe there is collusion (and with two 6-2 teams, other than some sort of personal relationship between the two driving it, it is hard to find the reason - clearly no one is folding up the shop here and calling themselves done.), you DON'T veto. Lopsided trades happen. It is part of playing the game.

Agree with Erik. I'm in the school of thought that if one team wants to accept a stupid trade, then let them. I'm in a 16 team league where there is a 4 person trade review committee...which I think is stupid.

Totally agree that leagues should not have a committee of any sort to decide whether a trade is fair or not. And that is not the case in our league. As commissioner, I have sent every trade through thus far as I have many of the same beliefs about fantasy football trades as you. I understand that lopsided trades happen, but this one just does not make any sense. Both are friends, and see eachother daily. That doesnt prove anything but its in the back of my mind. Everyone in my league is begging for a veto because this trade would make the team receiving Murray absolutely stacked. What doesnt make sense to me is that both teams are 6-2. And this trade provides zero help to the team receiving Miller and Ivory. He already owns Murray along with Mckinnon Jennings and Gore. A trade to this magnitude will change up the potential outcomes of the league significantly. And as the commisioner of a $$$ league, it does not sit well with me if I let it pass. Sorry for the book but I wanted to give you some further context.

Who would the team receiving Murray have with his addition? I would probably agree with you. miller and ivory are not worth murray by a long shot

Its a PPR league as well so Bell is even more dominant and TY is like 5th WR in league now

So its either have 2 guys upset at me for not allowing this trade or have 7 guys pissed that I allow it....Bein commish sucks

that it does. it seems to me that there may be a suspicion of collusion going on. unless the murray owner is a complete idiot....which very well may be the case

lol yeah I actually asked him wth he was thinking and his response was that he needed RBs...Which I dont understand since he already has the best one. Thanks for your responses. I dont normally handle trades this way and am typically in favor of letting most trades pass but I cannot find any reason why this one should go. Just too much of an impact on the league. Thanks

If this trade helps get this guy get another solid back into his flex spot, it isn't a horrible trade. However, that being said, I wish I could pull this off in my league.
