Questions
Ellington for Foles straight up
Current QB is Kaep. Other RBs are Forte, Murray, Lacy, Bradshaw and Ridley.

I am pushing for Bradshaw for Foles, but if he wants Ellington should I still make this trade?

Dude. Do not ever trade a starting runningback for a backup QB. The reason for this is by weeks 6-10, all of the teams that drafted "backup QB's" (teams with clear studs that only drafted another QB for bye, i.e. Rodgers and Rivers on the same team) will start dropping these players. You will be fine. Just wait for other people to be stupid.

Yeah I guess. My feeling is that Ellington will probably play at most 2 weeks (when Forte and Lacy have their bye and when Murray has his), whereas Foles would play almost every week for me. Maybe not the best trade I will ever make, but I think it makes my team stronger. (I have already been talked out of it, just explaining why I would do it)

Honestly, I would no even be considering this unless I started the season 0-4

It's a 1QB league and Ellington is a distant 4th choice RB - so bench option unless there is a bye. Foles is the best backup QB in my league by a long way (followed by Rivers). And even with the trade it wont really hurt my RB depth too badly - I would still have Bradshaw (who seems to have won the job over TRich) and Ridley (who I will be hoping to trade after a big game against Oakland.

In saying that, I am pushing for bradshaw instead of Ellington, would that make the trade better?

Its only week 3 and injuries could happen to any of your RBs or anyone in your league. He's good trade bait, but if someones top RB goes down he would be great trade bait

and its football some top player goes down every year

Yeah fair enough. Would you pull the trigger on Bradshaw though?

I wouldn't because i don't think its much of an upgrade compared to Keap.Maybe trade Keap + Bradshaw to the Richardson owner and get his #1 QB

Cam Newton. And he won't make that trade.

He just traded his backup (Cutler) + Panthers D for Dez. QBs way overvalued in my league

That is one of the worst trades i have ever heard aha. i would wait for Keap to have a good game and package him with bradshaw and see if anyone bites

Yeah, pretty bad. I had to watch it happen because I was trying to trade with the guy getting Dez, and he said to wait for the outcome of that trade (honour system wouldn't let me interfere with the trade). Oh well - my problem is that Kaep has basically no value - everyone else in the league already has a better QB. And noone will trade their QB1. I am never going to get a better QB than Foles for less than Bradshaw. Could probably get Romo, or look at the guy with Wilson and Brady, but otherwise just roll with Kaep / waiver options

I would roll with Keap for now
